Hello Music fans,
A few months ago I started getting P!nk concert videos all over my feed on multiple platforms — clips from some huge concert she had recently done. It was a big splashy production; high enough quality to justify jacked up ticket prices. It occurred to me she had peaked in 2003 and she was now a nostalgia act. Could you imagine coming back to relive your youth when your youth was so . . . lame? She had positioned herself on the pop market to be the alternative to Britney Spears — I was remembering — and the idea of her being the BRATZ doll alternative to Barbie popped in my head. I was going to make a short video on the subject but got sidetracked.
Months later she is the story of the week and people are doing videos reexamining her bogus career and slamming her push to get Macklemore removed from the Ed Sheeran tour. So I’m getting in on the action with a Pink Slam video of my own, combining my original idea with her being a pro-genocide grrrrl.
I had my character Miss Pepe do the narration.
